FREDDY SUAREZ JR
Freddy Suarez Jr. is a New York–based fashion and product photographer with over 13 years of experience, specializing in PDP, e-commerce, editorial imagery and retouching. Born and raised in the East Village with Puerto Rican and Ecuadorian roots, Freddy’s creative perspective was shaped by the energy, style, and culture of 90s New York—where streetwear, music, and individuality defined a generation.
After earning his AAS and BBS in Business, photography found him. An internship at a Soho photo studio became his creative turning point, where he learned the craft of professional lighting, composition, and the discipline of studio production. From that moment on, he committed himself to mastering the balance between technical precision and authentic storytelling.
Freddy has since collaborated with leading brands including Macy’s, Roc Nation, Levi’s, Marc Ecko, DTLR, Eastside Golf, Andre Assous, Hawke & Dumar, and Dillard’s, and currently works with Paper Planes, Ebbets Field Flannels, Capsule NY, and The Bar. His work spans e-commerce campaigns, lookbooks, and editorial projects that help brands define and elevate their visual identity.
In 2021, Freddy opened his first studio in Manhattan’s Garment District, followed shortly by a second space dedicated to fostering a creative community for photographers and artists. His approach is rooted in partnership—investing deeply in each brand’s vision while delivering imagery that feels intentional, elevated, and true to their identity.
Freddy describes his style as emotional and human-centered: images should feel real, lived-in, and aspirational. He believes viewers should see themselves in the frame—through authentic casting, natural environments, rich color, and vibrant, intentional light. His goal is simple: to create photographs that don’t just showcase a product, but tell a story people want to be part of.
